Still Lifes

Still lifes were one of my favorite pastimes in an age where i was still not confident enough with my skills to emerge out of copying reality and instead creating a reality of my own.

Most of my works were done at my house using items only an armstretch away from my seat.  These exercises helped me acheive a balance when adding contrast to my art while also appreciating the whiteness of the virgin paper itself.
